Sealed bids will be received at McKean County Housing Authority offices located at 415 W. Main Street, P.O. Box 3366, Smethport, PA 16749 on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. for General Construction, a public bid opening will be conducted via Zoom by the Owner immediately thereafter. Interested parties will be provided with a link.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at The Abbie, 62 Main St., Lewis Run, PA 16738. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
Prime Contractors may obtain Bid Documents from the Architect, 1723 Liberty Street, Warren, PA 16365 for a nonrefundable deposit of $50.00 per electronic set of Drawings and Specifications. Checks are to be made payable to Inscale Architects.

The minimum wage rates to be paid to laborers and mechanics engaged in the construction of this project shall be the residential rates established by the Davis Bacon Act Wage Determinations. HUD requirements related to minority, women and low-income hiring shall apply.
All bids must be submitted with a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% (ten percent) of the total bid amount. A principal of the Company must execute all bidding documents. A performance bond and material and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract bid amount will be required to be delivered at the time the contract is submitted to the Owner for execution. No bids may be withdrawn within 45 days of bid opening without the consent of McKean County Housing Authority.
The McKean County Housing Authority reserves the right to waive any inconsistencies and to reject any or all bids, and any part of a bid.
